drum slicer ??

am i dreaming or did i see a live 6 video where you can select a part of a drum loop and remove or copy a drum as a sample and load it into the impulse ??

sure i saw this ? is it really possible to do ?

Don't know about the video, but you have been able to do this since Live 4 at least. Just slice the loop in Arrange view and drop each slice into an Impulse cell.

Or session view, set you start and end markers drag to Impulse or Simpler or Sampler

For some people impulse adds some kind of bad crackle or crack - you might be oneof the lucky one this doesn't happen to

I prefer to drag the newly created slices to SIMPLER - more control IMO


but over all I prefer RECYCLE to cut my samples, loops and beats up in

peace
