Newb and Clueless with M-Audio Trigger Finger

Hello,
I am completely new to this whole thing and very clueless. I've been trying to get my trigger finger to make drum loops, but i can't even get a sound of them. I am running Live Lite 4 for M-Audio on my windows XP. I believe i have all the drivers installed correctly because when i hit the pad there is a light in the right hand corner that lights up. I'm not sure if i need to use map editing using Enigma or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you don´t need enigma! just go to options...pre-settings..control surface. there you can choose trigger finger for full support. now it should be no problem to program your loops with impulse. gl&hf!

oh, now i see...you still use live 4. sry but trigger fingers full support is a new feature in live 6 ^^. it looks like enigma, it smells like enigma...just use enigma for programming!
