VST bassline crackling & poping

Having trouble with my Audiorealism Bassline VST in Live. Getting heaps of crackles/pops in the bassline track but the other Vst's are playing fine (the more cpu intesive ABL Pro doesn't pop at all). I have played around with the buffer (512 currently) to no avail. I have "as buffer" checked in CPU options and have multicore support on. The track is drawing less than 10% CPU. Have even tried freezing track, but still no luck. Computer & RAM is fine Please help!
