Live Lite 6 and my Audio MIDI Setup do not get along

I downloaded as per email offer Live Lite 6

I have an audiophile 2496 audio/midi PCI installed in my G4.

In the Audio MIDI Setup Audio Devices my setup is as follows:

The default audio in/out set to the audiophile

The System output set to Built in Audio

Properties for the Audiophile

This setup works in all my audio/midi sequencers: SX3,DP,Metro

When I launched Live Lite 6 my mac had a kernel panic.

Let me assure you that I am a fanatic about mac maintenance and therefore do the DiskWarrior, TechToolPro and DiskUtility maintenance on a daily/weekly basis including Macaroni working in the background.

To me that indicated that Live Lite does not like the Audio Device Audio MIDI Setup.



I sure would like to give this midi/audio sequencer a spin.

How can I setup A M S to get along nice with Live and my G4?
