clip gain jump?

randomly live will suddenly pull the clip gain, on a clip all the way up. ...which the guys i play w/ don't really like all that much.

i can't get it to repeat. and it has happened on 2 different computers, over the multiple updates to version 5. haven't gone to 6 yet so i'm not sure what is what.

i do not have clip gain assigned to a slider, knob or key command.

anyone have this ever?

Not me.

If the clip gain were turned down, then selected and you hit 'delete', then it would jump back up to "0".
