automated programm change

i want to do an automated program change track in ableton. but i can't figure out how to do that ...
i already imported working midi files from other programs, but ableton won't recognize them correctly.
what can i do?

in your MIDI clip, go into the "Notes" Section
where it reads "Bank" "Sub-Bank" and "Program" is where you need to be.

also your imported midi files/clips may already have program/banks associated with them, so you'll have to overwrite whatever numbers are already assigned to them.
