audiofile engineering Wave Editor Users help

Post by dstole » Mon Nov 27, 2006 4:41 pm

I am having a problem with Wave Editor as the linked audio editor in Live 6.

Is anyone having any trouble with it.

or See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQF540HSGdo for video

Any feedback, or work flow hints would be appreciated. Need to get this worked out.

Thanks

Yup. I just tried what you did. But I did not get an import error becuase I had my seting at aiff 96000 32 float... BUT I saved the file and brought back into live and it was maxed out just like your video. I really dig using wave editor my guess its an ableton problem.

Thanks for all info! I really dig Live6 and Wave Editor. There both solid platforms. I've been helping out the WE guys with some testing. The WE guys are great to work with and are working around the clock to get this matter solved.

Wanted to follow up...

The developers of WaveEditor were in contact with me constantly about this issue, to the point of contacting me via iChat for an hour long discussion at around 10pm (their time-I am in Japan). To say that they take care of their customers is an understatement!

I was told this afternoon that they had resolved the issue of import warnings, etc, and that there would be an update this evening! Now I can understand if they can't post it as I am sure these things some times take longer than that, but I first contacted them on the 28th, and here they are claiming to have a fix by Thursday!!

Will post again when I have tested the update
