search database bug

Post by krikor » Wed Nov 29, 2006 1:53 am

i have a session that was created on another computer with live6, it includes impulse with samples manualy copied on the library with its setings in the preses folder of impulse also located on the library.
When i load it in my new computo where all needed files (presets and aiff) have been relocated correctly, the program says some samples are missing, i follow the instruction click on the orange info line down the app, right browser opens up,i know where are the sample located so i tell the search engine where to look: it can't find the samples even though i can see them on the left browser in live.
i have tried evey different way (search in local folder to full hard drive) it never finds a single sample. I have to manualy take the missing sample in the left browser then drag it to the right browser on the missing sample replace spot.

this is what happens

Hi Krikor,

Please try enabling 'fully rescan forders', and tell me If the engine finds your samples.

If it's "auto re-examen a chaque recherche", it was on already.
I tried everything reagarding this. I had to manually drag and drop everysingle sample to fix it.
Je t'ai mis sur la liste du Rex si ca te dis de passer.
