Using a UC-33 Controller to mimic the pitch slider of a CDJ.

Post by tunetracker » Sat Dec 02, 2006 1:54 am

I'm sure I heard somewhere that it was possible to set a Uc-33 controller up to use with live's master tempo to mimic the pitch slider on a CDJ. And also reverese the settings so that moving the fader up = - and down = + so that i can use live like a 3rd cdj into my Dj mixer.

If this is possible and anyone knows how to do it i'd really appreciate it any help.

Cheers, JT

In midi assign mode, select the tempo in the top left corner, move the slider you want to use, then in the bottom left corner enter the values you want the slider to move between. If you're playing house this would generally be between 120 & 130 bpm, if you want the slider to work the other way round, simply enter the higher value first. Easy peasy.
