Exciting Remote SL Automap update on the way...

Post by bandybum2 » Tue Dec 05, 2006 6:11 pm

V interesting response to a query from Novation today :D :

Hi Andy,

you cannot factor the displayed values on the SL and also it is not possible to
control plug-in effects in Cubase which do not have a MIDI Learn feature.

We are however currently working on an update to Automap which will solve both
of the above issues and allow you much more control over all plug-ins (effects
and instruments) in Cubase and all other host programs. I cannot divulge any
more at present but keep an eye out on www.novationmusic.com for news coming in
the next couple of months.

Let me know if you need any further info.

Best regards,

Oli Cash
Focusrite Novation.

display mode -64 to +63. Is it possible to display -15 to +15 dB as max and min
values on the LCD as opposed to -64 to +63 and still have control over the whole
range of the plugin knob? ie. is there a means to factor max and min values?

within a host is a great new feature. Is it possible to also achieve this for
waves plugins (e.g. SSL plugins) that are not stand-alone and have no midi learn
features?
