Eq3 to be fixed please...
I'd really like eq3 to work more like a dj eq,
Firstly I never use it as it dulls the sound and I think it should be transparent when everything is at '0'
I don't use it because of this and it would be nice to have an in house djeq as I would of thought this is what eq3 is aimed at.
I'd love to use the kills instead of having to set up filters but can't as I don't want to use it because of the above reason.
'0' to be at 12 O'clock would be a bonus too.
But most importantly I'd like an in house dj eq that I can use that does not colour at '0'
Loving live 6 btw, good job!

I'd also like to add.
The great thing about ab' is the different way in which people use it. Alot of djs are seeing the beauty of this program and having a better dj eq would really plus that transition I would of thought.
It could only attract more djs and help wash away those stupid preconceived ideas that some djs have of a program like this.
There is so much going on in this program for djs it is such a plus and a eq that djs would find themselves at home with would be perfect addition.
Can I just say DJ one more time

Yep this is very weird. When you apply it, it changes the sounds even though everything is zeroed.

Some people don't seem to be happy with EQ3 for Dj'ing and find EQ4/8 too complex to set up.
So here's my attempt at a DJ EQ.
The requests were only as specific as: "It should not color the sound" and "0dB should be in the middle".
With those 2 features in mind, I built the rack.
You have 8 parameters available.
- 3 gains knobs with 0dB in the middle (Low, Mid and High)
- 1 scale knob to control the amount of effect your gain parameters have
- 3 Freq knobs so that you can fine tune the gain frequencies (Low, Mid and High)
- 1 Dry/Wet knob so that you can crossfade in/out of your EQ.

It is far from perfect and doesn't kill the frequencies totally.
But it is a start..
Any suggestions or modifications are welcome.
Enjoy!
