Hey, I really like the reason Drum mixer and found out how to use it with rewire but was not satisfied. The sound quality came out far worse when it was rewired and there was an anoying delay to the drums which throws the entire song off beat.
Any ideas?

1. Start Live
2. Start Reason
3.Configure Output Channels for Redrum
4.Configure Midi Output Channel too Redrum
5.Configure Input Channels (Audio from Reason Rewire Output Channels)
6.Turn Delay Compensation Off
7.Program Midi Clips for Redrum
8.Render channels to Audio clips
Then Turn Delay Compensation ack on when finished with Reason and using other VST's or VSTi's.
Works best this end.
Working this way you get control over drum hits , individual kit mutes and solo's + all drum parameter automisation via clip envelopes.
Sound quality is excellent this end by the way and I use Reason heaps in my compositions.
Especially NN19 , NNXT , Maelstrom , Redrum and Subtractor.
Though I quite often use alotof Combinators with MClass processing devices and the REV7000 / Scream etc also.
I generally don't get bad delay issues either I might add.
Also make sure you have the latest REWIRE software update available from the Prop's site also.
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....
