Crashes

Hello,

My Live 6 crashes quite often, above all when i save my projetc or when I choose "rééunir et sauvegarder" (French version). Moreover, when Live 6 opens or when it opens ort closes a set, I have to wait a few minutes befor it's done.

How is it possible? Is it so with you? How can I solve these problems?

Hi,

there are two things: for the long loading times, it is possible that your Preferences file got corrupted for some reason. In that case, delete the preferences.cfg file from that location:

# Windows (Live 4 and later versions): C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
# Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton

Then, have you tried the latest beta? A lot has been fixed and it is possible that your crashing problems are solved. If the beta crashes, it also creates a pack that you should send to [email protected], so we can see what's wrong and hopefully correct the problem.
