ReWire Question...HELP

Hi Guys, when I'm running Ableton as a host and rewire Reason, I find I sometimes lose midi control on my Novation. My control surface will be working fine and then suddenly it will drop out and lose midi. (and then come back shortly) Very annoying, Has this happened to anyone else?? Midi communication work fine when I use Ableton or Reason separately...
