effects

I am wondering about this... if it is supposed to be like this...

so I start Live 6 and save the file..... and then I make an audio track and add for instance a reverb effect... okay so far so good
but then I make another track... add ping-pong delay... beat repeater... and then when I want to choose the same reverb as in the previous... all I see is a folder with the name of the file I am working on.
why is it like so?
do you understand what I mean?

okay.. I reckon you did not understand me...

here's an image of the current filder that I see.. it is called Current Project (sally-cello)

and also.. it looks like some of my Live 6 effects have been deleted... my Live 6 went nuts and prompted me if I wanted to delete... and I clicked cancel but it seems they were deleted anyway

no...that is a mess up.

did the ping pong delay have available presets for the first track. If not, then your presets (live-packs) are not installed in a place where live can find them. If so, then this may be a problem with the install or a bug...but I always have all the presets available, all the time, for all the tracks.

can I reinstall just the presets?
or do I have to uninstall all Live 6 first?

I don't think you have to reinstall...although it probably wouldn't hurt. This happens regularly...I'm pretty sure you can get info about how to fix the situation from the web faq's...i think basically your install is just looking in the wrong place for the preset...can't remember exactly what i did when this happened once during an upgrade...but its fairly common.
