i am having warping problems with latin basslines. the samples in question have a bass + a clave in them. when looped and timestretched, there is a "warble" in the sound.
i have experimented with adjusting the transient resolution, time signature, etc, but no luck.
i think the problem arises from the solid wave pattern in the sample - the bass signal is solid through the entire sample (moving smoothly from note to note with long "holds" on each note, rather than being choppy, with wave starts and stops between individual notes). this type of sample seems to be a tricky one to time-stretch.
anyone have thoughts or ideas on what i am doing wrong, or how i might solve this problem?
