i am hoping someone can help me out with this.
is there a way of doing pitch correction with any of lives built-ins.
secondly any recommendations on pitch correction plugins hopefully some freewares will do for now.

grain delay can be used for some pitch changing, but it probably isn't the best...

Why not use the clip's pitch knob?

very good point dr.wackler!! he might be talking about pitch correcting parts of a phrase, but your point still stands - fine tune the pitch envelope with the clip in complex mode!

yo mates

perhaps you can help me - i need to automate the transposition controller in live`s clip view.
after arming the clip and recording it just don`t automate it...
any suggestions?

you can't record automation in session view, only arrangement view.... toher than that, not sure.
