I´am totaly confused by this Forum:
I want to use Live and Absynth 2 on Mac OS 9, but the VST is not showing up.
So I directed Live to my Cubase VST Folder (with the Live Preferencepanel), the result was that just the VST "Effects" are shown up in the Live Browser but absolutely no VST Instrument (Reaktor 2.3, Absynth2, Battery, ModelE and a lot of Freeware VST´s.
So I searched this Forum to find some help, what I found (and understood) was that: Some threads say that Live will not support VST Instruments and some Threaths that say that it does.
Sorry my english is maybe not that good and I´ not a Pro-E-Musician (just want to make some "Blips and Blops" from time to time).
I also deleted the "Preferences.cfg", but no change, no VST Instrumendts are shown up in the Live Browser.
I would be very glat to get 2 simple answers:
"Is it possible to use Live as a Sampleplayer and playing and recording my Absynth2 directly synchron in Live (like in Cubase)?" and if it´s possible "how can I get the whole thing to work?"
