I just received a Toneport UX1, which came with Live 4 & Gearbox, most of what I plan to use this for is simple home use recording tracks from my guitar and practice leads.
Can Live be used as a drum machine? Preferably I just want to select a simple drum tempo track that I can play guitar tracks over?
I have briefly looked at the tutorials on creating drum sounds, but did not see anything that allowed me to just pick a drum, adjust the tempo, and play it on a repeating track. (I assume this would be considered a loop)
This is all completely new to me, and I dont yet have a clear understanding of loops, samples, tracks, clips, scenes etc...
