FUCK YOU M-AUDIO! x64

Post by nesvarbu » Sat Dec 30, 2006 8:22 pm

i will never buy the soundcard from that shitty company, they are doing great products, but they don't know how to deal with a customers. WE STILL HAVE NO x64 DRIVERS FOR ANY M-AUDIO SOUNDCARD. Fuck you M-Audio, fuck you!

Ummm, just curious, but why wouldn't you put this on M-Audio's forum instead of Abletons?

Take a deep breath, count to 10, and then buy a soundcard that has the features you want.

lol - good luck

"Great products"?

For the price, I suppose.

Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

m-audio x64 drivers

Post by drq » Sat Dec 30, 2006 10:55 pm

well to be exact, there are x64 drivers on m-audio support site - select "beta drivers" in search menu. what realy dissapoints me that they are dated 03.2005 which possibly means that x64 drivers development is frozen for the time being.

to be honest; I'am no big m-audio fan either..
had several soundcards; never worked properly.. switched to motu..
and most of their keys feel like cheap pflastick or you're pushing bricks..
so yeah, for the price it's all ok I guess..
quality doesn't come cheap..

2 years later, 64 bit m-audio drivers are still BETA
they work, though.
at least for my delta 66 and xp x64.
but it seems like quitting the beta stage in driver programming is harder than inventing new hardware :D

And still offensive language in the posts... Just wrote some PMs, maybe we can clean up the 2 year old stuff after bumping the thread now :)

For the record I have had:

Audiophile 24/96 (PCI version)
Audiophile 24/96 (USB version)
Transit

...and not had a minutes problem from any of them. I have sold the Audiophile USB as I want a Fast Track Pro (FTP for home use; Transit for on the move), and I have no hesitation in buying M-Audio again.

Yeah, they're built to a price point, but like I say I've never had an issue with them.
HARDWARE:
Vaio laptop / M-Audio Transit / Zoom H2 /
Alesis M1 Active 520's / Sennheiser EH2200's
Behringer BCR2000 / misc. instruments & toys

SOFTWARE:
Live 7 / Sound Forge Audio Studio
