Did Novation SL become finally bug free ?

Post by rikhyray » Tue Jan 02, 2007 11:47 pm

I was one of those who bought one when they came out but then gave up for 2 reasons: 2 octave only teases me if not irritate, there were too many bugs and even after months Novation didnt fix them.
So how do they work now after almost a year and in Live 6 ( I sold mine long before 6 appeard) ? I wouldnt mind getting the Zero but if it is still that waiting, hoping that Novation bring some fixes I better wait till it is fixed and only then buy one.

The only bug I've noticed is that when you change from a manual template to automap, pick-up mode and value-scaling modes don't work at first (ie. the faders jump). I think that may be an ableton isse.

Otherwise, things are good.

i have yet to figure out how to create my own templates or use the thing effectively for any VST plugins (like my microtonic), and i find novation's documentation aggravatingly inadequate...
