more MAJOR 6.0.3 crashes: IAC driver and external sync

I've got Live slaved to a drum machine (wish I didn't have to, but does anyone have any suggestions on how to make sync to external devices better???)

I have a track of dummy midi clips to automate recording on another track.

Enabled input and output to IAC driver

Launch midi clip...

CRASHOLA!!!!!

Live gets stuck in a weird loop and I have to force quit.

Wow.

Am I doing something wrong???
