I have posted about this in the past.
My workaround is to simply drop the volume of each sample. An easy fix, but still kinda weird.

Browser = warping (unless otherwise specified)

Impulse = no warping...

That being said. There's so much wrong with the impulse, I wouldn't even know where to begin.
10 second fade? WTFF?

yeah its lame as hell.

i just use kontakt now. sounds infinitely better.

the more i use live 6.0, honestly, the more im searching for ways to get my current environment working/setup with logic again. maybe i got too excited too soon.

way too fucking buggy.

meh, I don't find Live 6 to be buggy at all...though some of their plugins/instruments could use some polishing...impulse could be soooooo much better.
