launching with keystrokes

Sorry to bug you guys with something thats probably trivial...But...

I'm trying to launch scenes with a keystroke. I've assigned 'launch scene' (the one underneath 'stop clips' that will launch the currently selected clip) to keystroke 'l', but whenever I trigger a scene with l it just plays the first 1 bar of the scene repeatedly. When I use the mouse to click it it plays fine and plays the entire sequence. Also, I can map keystrokes to launch individual scenes and that works fine.

Any ideas?

With a quick test I can't replicate your problem.

I was noticing something else though - the keys mapped to the scene launch buttons were waaaaay less responsive than the key mapped to the main transport play button. I can make the set play repeatedly really fast by hitting the main play key. But hitting anything mapped to the scene area rapidly does not respond instantly
