Selecting 8 tracks and performing a common function?

Post by DrumsOnTap » Sun Jan 07, 2007 5:20 am

Hi all. 1st post here. I am on a Macbook Pro with Live 5 .Basically I am hoping there is a way to select say, 8 tracks and then perform a common function like arming for record, or 8 tracks all recieving audio from a MIDI track, or even the track monitor selection (In/Auto/Off). It seems like I shouldn't have to click on each little record button for every track I am recording. I often record 8 tracks at once. Or if I load in Superior Drums C&V, I have to set up a MIDI track and then 10 audio tracks all receiving audio from the MIDI track, so I have to pull down a scroll menu and select 14 MIDI on 10 tracks. Is there a better way for me to do this? Thanks so much.
