Hi,
Say I have a snare track, send it to a return then have the return going to another track. If I put a reverb on the return and on the final track I change the delay to around 200ms, when I take off all the effects and the delay, there is a quarter of a second delay still on the track.
This doesnt always happen but deleting the final track and re-adding solves it. (I have checked all effects etc are turned off but still get this delay).
I hope that made some sort of sense..
Delay on notes
hi, which version of Live do you use?
i could not reproduce this. if you set a delay in the return track and then record the signal from the return track to your final audio track, then the delay is recorded into the audio clip and still remains after removing the track delay in the return.
does that help?

It just happened when I had been fiddling with the track delay settings for a while(20+ minutes), turning them up to 200ms then back down and changing settings on the reverb I was using. I was sending the return to it's own track for further editing. I tried to turn all the settings off in all tracks and back to 0 but there seemed to be a pre-delay still there. All sends were turned off.
Deleting and loading a new track seemed to be the only way of solving it.
I'm using verison 6.0.3.
