making a frickin impulse

i am royaly pissssed right now.
i go in and out of musical thoughts. my songs come and go.
when i think if the song, i need to get it written down fast.

so i opened up Live 5 to record the beat/sounds i had in my head...
and I cant get them into the same impulse.
(I use an m-audio trigger finger)

so now by the time I open Live 5 fifteen times... (because i can only get inpuit from my triggerfinger randomly)

i forget my song

How do I put a (wood block, an open hat, a snare, and a kick/bass for example) in ONE impulse??!?!?

Live 5 Manual pp.217-218. Sometimes it is a good idea to set up some generic kits in dry inspirational times, so they're ready when you need them.

I'd say try reinstalling the drivers for your trigger finger and read the manual as how to use impulse. all you have to do is find audio files on your computer and drag them into the slots in impulse...

Have you tried any other hardware besides the TF?
You should verify that the TF is the problem then sell it on ebay and get something else.

I've had a couple of problems in the past like this with my TF, but after I installed the new drivers that came out recently, everything has been fine.

If that's not it, try taking off some of your USB devices so they don't fight for control of system resources.

1. sell it on ebay marked "for spare parts"
or
2. sell it on ebay cuz it might work for u even though it doesn't work for me
