Hey all. Just got myself a MiniMoog Voyager -- w00t!! =)
Noticing a little problem with sending staccato notes - sending a successive pattern of 7-8 16th notes, I'll wind up "dropping" a note. The Amp/VCF Envelopes are all set reasonably, Glide has been switched off, the MM has a "multi-envelope" setting which is on (resets the Env each time it is triggered).
Funny thing is that if i throw a faster pattern with 32nd note values (and a space of 32nd notes in between) the MM responds - nice and snappy.
Damn if I could recall what I was trying to trigger (VSTi of some sort, I think in Reaktor) but there is another seemingly related issue with looped MIDI notes... The net result of throwing a 1-bar whole note was that it too would only trigger audio on the first loop and then successive attempts to repeat the loop would fail after that. If I shortened the duration of the whole note just a little bit, the loop triggers the "almost a whole note" every time.
** my suspicion? **
It's as though the end of one MIDI note is too close to the beginning of the next note. Anyone else seen this sort of thing?? Driving me NUTS!!
