Processor spikes

Post by steve-o » Sun Jan 21, 2007 2:09 am

I'm getting processor spikes using 6.03 - as far as I can tell, exactly double what the normal or mean levels usually are. For example, right now a simple set - drums, bass, and synth is using about 52%. Every few seconds, it spikes to 104-105%.

Is anybody else having similar issues? And if so, is there a fix?

I can't seem to figure it out - every set spikes, so Live is pretty much useless to me.

Processor spikes --> SOLVED

Post by steve-o » Tue Jan 23, 2007 7:37 pm

Ableton support was very helpful in pinpointing the cause of the processor spike - MIDI feedback loop caused by the IAC driver and activation of the REMOTE fuction on the MIDI out of my microKontrol.

Thanks Ableton support!!!
