Hi captainhanky,

To make your key bindings permanent, (or just about anything else for that matter) first set up Ableton the way you want to open it every time, then go to the 'File Folder' section of preferences and use the 'Save Current Set as Template' function.

But this is only working for upcoming songs. Whats about older songs?
