Does anyone know of an alternative plugin to cubase sx3's step filter? Preferably in OSX UB?

use clip envelopes on the autofilter and you have one of the most flexible step filters known to man.

Spot on - I honestly never thought of that.
It is not as easy as the step filter - but much more powerful!

there is audio damage bigseq which is sort of similar

I has a look at it - but it looks like you can only step sequence over one bar at the longest - I was wanting to program a sequence over 4 - I don't think it can do it.
