Rythmic gate?

Post by patrickkidd » Fri Jan 26, 2007 4:53 am

Does anyone have a decent way to trigger a gate of some kind with a programmed sequence? This would chop the sound at intervals determined by the sequence...

cheers

dummy clips uses certain special drivers to route stuff from internal midi channels back into Live.

There are loads of VSTs for this. Go to KVR and search for Gates.

There was a nice discussion of sidechain gating in E. Musician Jan 2007.
