i don't know how to use logic as a slave to live. anybody got experience on this and has a working rewire setup?

True, Logic is always the Master in ReWire.
If you want to make Live a ReWire slave to Logic Express or Pro, here's a good Ableton page to help you get started:

I often use Live (especially Session view) to compose something, then send it back to Logic Express via ReWire to tweak, mangle, add other parts, etc.
You can record your ReWire'd audio in Logic too--some people swear that Logic "sounds" better. (I used to think so, but no longer.)
Just click "Bounce" in the Output channel, then type in the length of the piece in the Start and End sections of the dialog box.
