Axiom 25: Pads don't work with Impulse

Ok, I've read the tutorial, I've read the Axiom handbook, I've read all the posts in these forums, but I still can't get the Axiom's pads to work with Impulse. I can play the instrument from Axiom's keypads, and when I do this, I see a green light in Live's income-channel (it's set to receive 'all channels'). However, when I try to play the pads, the income-channel's light is yellow - not green, like before. And no sound.
I did set Axiom's preset to 18 (or to any other channel whatsoever) - it doesn't make a darn difference.

I saw that others had the same problem before, but found no answer. Did anyone solve this problem?
