[OT] Making America great again?
[OT] Making America great again?
Being in the UK, I'm a bit detached from US politics and at the mercy of the media, but this guy looks the real deal and the catalyst that could actually make America great again. He makes me want to vote again.

He has no resume. He's a first term senator. Right now there isn't anyone qualified running, imo.

IMO, that could be a good thing. He's fresh, hasn't had time to become jaded and brainwashed by the system, and isn't encumbered with the the "that's the way we've always done it" attitude.udp wrote:He has no resume. He's a first term senator.
And on the surface, he appears to have morals, integrity, and responsibilities for his actions missing from politics.
I'd like to be proud to be an American one day...
Perhaps, but show me his accomplishments. I'll say again I don't feel anyone thus far in the 2008 Presidential race has the qualifications and demeanor for the job. Rudy Gulliani has qualifications, but talking about baggage! I question his ehthical compass.hambone1 wrote:IMO, that could be a good thing. You're correct. I think it's important to get someone with more experience that is properly 'controlled' by corporate interests. Someone without these time tested and somewhat corrupt techniques of fronting the country might start thinking outside of the box and could very well be on the side of the people instead of corporations which, would be very bad for the top 3% who really are in charge of all things.udp wrote:He has no resume. Just a little someting to think about.
