[OT] Anyone use a PCR-30 with SX3 ??

If so, how do you stop the keys/notes from acting as controllers?

I only want the rotaries, sliders and buttons ("RSBs")to act as controllers.

Even if I load an SX PCR-30 template - which only has the RSBs mapped to functions in the SX3 mixer - some of the keys also control mixer functions. 80

It is driving me insane as I can't write midi parts/tracks without destroying the mix when I hit a key/note that suddenly drops a fader, does a hard pan left or a mute etc etc

I have only used the PCR-30 with Live for the past 2 years and that is fine. I usually only use SX3 for audio or ReWire Live to it.

Now I have a song where I need to do some midi tracks in SX3 and this is how I have discovered the problem.

I have done a factory reset on the PCR-30 but that didn't help.

So I am now wondering whether my PCR needs repair or whether it is simply not compatable with SX3.

Any suggestions/help/feedback greatly appreciated.

I've found a work around !!!

If I reboot the PCR-30 after I've started up SX3 everything is good.

So, I boot up the PCR-30>boot up SX3>open a project>turn the PCR-30 off and then on again.

The the keys/notes do not control anything in the mixer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And there goes the best part of 4 days of my life !!!!!!!!!

I'm still curious as to whether ot not there is anything wrong with my PCR-30 or whether its just something wierd when using it with SX3. I've had no dramas in more than 2 years of using the PCR-30 with Live. I haven't used it with SX3 before because I rarely do midi tracks in SX3, mainly use it for audio, mixing, mastering etc.
