live is doing something very strange... help!

i'm using impusle with drum samples loaded into it to play a midi clip of a 1 bar drum loop but live is playing the snare one on beats 1 & 3 instead of 2 & 4 where it's programmed to play. It's confusing the hell out of me. It wasn't doing it before and i've checked all the midi delay settings and it all looks ok.

any ideas?

it's like its set on some kind of delay to play the midi note a beat delayed.
It's actually doung it on all the slots and it must have set to default because when i load a new impulse into a midi track it still does it.

i've had bugs in Live 5.

sometimes the only way i could get it to play right, would be to trigger the clip from scene trigger and not from the clip itself.

i remember a workaround i had to use once for weird start anomolies, that consisted of: making sure the loop button at the top of the page was off. and that the cursor in Arrange view was set to the beginning of measure 1.
