midi sync to external groove box

I use a mac g4 with a delta 1010 card. I am trying to hook an rm1x sequencer into the mix with ableton. I want it to sync up to the rm1x clock so ableton and the rm1x both play simultaneously. I understand midi and have never had any midi problems until now. I do not know what else to do. Ableton will not accept the midi messages????

also, I use logic 5.5 and have no problems with midi in that program. Any suggesestions would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

figured it out. sort of. I reset the midi drivers in OSX and that seemed to do the trick. Not sure why midi would not respond to ableton, but it works now.

Also check that the midi interface is slected in the Live preferences. I have found that although I make all the settings they sometimes disappear and I have to reset them (OS 10.3.1 that is)
