I need to track audio from an MPC60 and a Korg MicroX into my computer...
I generally use FL Studio for bits and pieces, and the MPC for Drums etc... but I do own Live 5 (haven't upgraded...yet).
I need a decent piece of tracking software...and here's the important bit,...that I can sync to my MPC, either as a Master, or Slave (ideally both!). I think Live is capable of this...
I have 2 questions:
Is Live useful for straight audio tracking... i.e. recording in audio as a wav file and NOT messing with it...? Can I use Live in a very traditional DAW manner?
Can I set up an effective Midi Clock or MTC sync? The sync between my MPC and Reason is a joy to behold.. . I can use the transport on the MPC to move between bars etc... could this work with Live?
Help/opinions appreciated.
