Shortcut for Sampler

Post by ToneDunce » Sun Mar 04, 2007 4:00 am

Question about assigning zones in Sampler - is there some way to tell it, after I drag in about a hundred different samples, to assign them all each to its own key? Without doing it manually? I've been looking this way and that but can't find how you do it. Thanks in advance!

Greetings again guys,

So, your solemn silence has inspired me to go and look for myself and what do you know, I managed to find a "solution": what you can do is hold a key or range of keys on your controller and then double click any zone in Sampler - it gets automatically set to that key / range! Real nifty!

nice tip!

a question though: when you say 'range' of keys on your controller, do you have to depress all keys between the lower and upper notes you want to map the sample to? [cant try for myself right now]
