Which Audio interface?

Hi, after a few weeks of trying to configure my Creative soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS soundcard for cueing/monitoring i've been told by a forum member that i can't split the the main out and the headphone out on this perticular card

so i've decided to bite the bullet and buy a new Audio interface can anyboby offer advice as to which 1 i should buy? i don't have loads of money for this but dont want a crap 1 either, i need to be able to cue put a mic through it a guitar and a midi controller. any advice would be welcome

how much money are you looking to spend? And do you want a PCI card, or firewire or usb etc? I have a presonus firebox which is pretty decent - has guitar, mic, line inputs and midi i/os. Personally i find it handy having the inputs and controls on a breakout box like that rather than on the computer itself.
