**How to Make Live Looping like Kid Beyond **

Post by Antpro » Tue Mar 06, 2007 3:59 am

I need a Hand on this, I would like to make beat boxing like KB but I`ve been trying to figured out and I can get it right.
I will not use a Pedal like him , but I will be using a MIDI controler MK425C from Evolution. so set thing by hand.

I want to know is some body can give me a hand please !!

Thanks

There is SO much info on this already.

I know a forum is supposed to be an evolving community, and repeat questions are to be expected (I don't get as annoyed as other people!).

Without a pedal is def. possible - just think of your controller as a pedal, when assigning in Live.

Search for Live Looping Essential Config thread on here. And simply map one button for each track to the Play button you see that appears below the clip slots when you enter MIDI Map mode in Live. This way, you hit the button (or pedal) once to start recording, and again to stop recording and it will automatically loop. It's best to keep the Global quantisation value to 1 bar, and it takes a little getting used to (you have to hit the button or pedal slightly before you want to stop recording).

I make it sound harder than it is. It's piss easy!
