Rewire problems with Reason into Ableton

Hi everybody!

I have a problem:

Reason have always worked fine when I rewired it in ableton, but somehow recently Reason shuts down ableton when I want to rewire it into Ableton. It shows me the message "Cannot open reason engine" try to reinstall etc. Which I did, but that doesn't solve the problem. Reason works fine on it's own. I can't find the aswer which solve the problem and I feel stupid right now

Can anybody help me out with this?

I dunno, Reason rewired into Live works great for me, probably just some tweak or setting might be needed.

I remember this happened to me rewiring Reason into Cubase SX3, it just required unchecking of an audio driver setting (the one that says release ASIO driver to background apps or something needed to be unchecked). Then everything worked awesomely !!

Thanks for your reply! But can you tell me where exactly I can find that setting. I can't find it in ableton's preferences though

Or do I need to change it elsewhere? I do have an ASIO driver installed.. I searched the internet about this problem, but it seems not to occur very often.. I hope you/anybody can help me
