I'm having a problem with auditioning wave files in the browser. It seems as if Live is interpreting a lot of the files as being twice as fast as they actually are, so that when I audition them, Live plays them at half speed (with many artifacts). I can drag the file into the clip slot, double click it. and change the "segment BPM" to be half the speed (making it the correct, original tempo of the file). Then eveything sounds right. How do I get around this? If I can't audition files in the browser properly, the Live workflow is pretty cumbersome.
Is there any way to turn off the tempo matching in the browser??
