Alternate Library Location--Saving Live Sets?

Post by choenyi » Wed Apr 04, 2007 1:25 am

I have my library defined to a remote hard drive, but Live still wants to save my sets in the standard location, isolating aspects of my Library from each other.

Hello,

If you are using Live 6. it is advised not to save your sets to the Library, but to a different location. For example, you could create a folder named 'MySets' and save all your sets there. This way, each time you'll save a set, it will create a Project folder with the set in it, which will later on allow you to collect all samples the set uses in the Project folder.

Also, the recording you'll do will go to that Project folder, keeping things well separated, so to avoid having all of your recording in a same folder in the Library.
