Dumb Question.... RAM

I have a Macbook Pro. I have 1gig of memory. Do I really need anymore than that??
Most of my work on Ableton runs on the average of 20 plus tracks. Will more memory improve the performance?
For you that have more...why is this?

Are you experiencing any performance issues? If not, then you probably don't need it right now, but you may still want to pick up another stick should your sets evolve into complex behemoths.
