getting could not decode mp3 error

i have a couple of mp3s that give me an error that says "the file c:...remix.mp3" could not be decoded using directshow (Error code-2147220968)

i know that the files will work in traktor so they should be valid files

just wondering if other people have this problem and if it is being worked on and also if there is anything that i can do about it short of converting them to wav or aiff

Hi,

I'm not sure about which decoder Traktor is using, but in Live it is advised to use Quicktime. Download and install the Quicktime player and you should be fine.

i have the latest version of quicktime on my machine
