MIDI notes from VSTi dropout

It appears as though when using some MIDI VSTi plugins within Live certain note on and note off messages are missed randomly in Ableton. This does not happen within other hosts such as energy XT or minihost. This is really quite frustrating.

Anyone else have this problem or found some workarounds to it?

Hello,

It would be most useful to know:

-what computer you are using.
-What hardware (MIDI interface, audio card, controllers and keyboard)
-Which plugins show that behaviour.
-Which exact version of Live you are using.
-A detailed scenario to reproduce the behaviour: does it happen on recording, playing back, with a MIDI keyboard etc..
