It crashes for no reason

Post by Akumalong » Sat Apr 21, 2007 8:49 am

I'm working on a project about 1 month, and now i'm making its final mix. But the goddamn Live started to crash for no reason last night. Even on the earlier save files. And it doesn't make midi file export. Right now i'm hardly holding myself to not to punch the computer.

I'm using Blue, Massive and Predator and audio damage dubstation that's all. What the fuck is your problem ABleton? I'm using this program beacuse it's unblieveble easy to use but it crashes even more than the FL Studio and Cubase. I can't beleive it. Right now i'm not seeing any way to finish my project. WHAT's YOUR PROBLEM. WHY YOU CAN'T MAKE A PROGRAM WHİCH DOESN'T CRASHES IN REGULAR PROCESS?

Try this...

Before starting live open up your vst folder in windows. copy the .dll's that are used in the crashing project to your desktop then delete the ones from the vst folder.

Open live and then your project. if it opens (fingers crossed)! now copy the .dll's back to the vst folder and rescan in abletons preffs.

Hope it works for you. You can also delete the .dll's one by one to determine which is crashing it.

Maybe that they are not the problem but pretty likely.
