nebulae.com is back online - 27 hours of original music

Post by nebulae » Mon Apr 30, 2007 3:47 am

It's been three years since the site went down. I've still kept making music, but we went through some band changes, and moving around and what not.

Anyways, all the music is back online now. All 27 hours of it, going back to 1992. (Not that the early stuff is any good, but it's done and out there...)

Other parts of the site are not alive yet, but the most important part (Music) is working. Please check it out.

Goodmorning everyone, and a very sincere thanks for the support :)

Yeah, it's a lot of stuff, and I'll be the first to say that anything before 1997 was probably some (un)serious farting around. So listen to those with a sense of humor. :) Around the World Wide Eclecticae release, things get pretty good.

I'll post comments for the albums and songs soon, including tips, tricks, production details, etc.

If you want good background listening, Samplications is pretty cool - 13-hour-long sets of MP3s from mp3.com artists. Those of you on the web long enough will remember the dark day when mp3.com was sold and the new owners decided to evict the thousands of independent artists hosting their music. They could have been bigger than MySpace. Morons.

Again, thanks for listening.

one other note, the flam player that I'm using to stream the mp3s is very easy to use...highly recommended for audio examples on your website.

Anything after 2006 will definitely have a LOT of covert-ops influences...I'll give prizes to anyone who can actually spot a SoundWreck or Surgical Tool clip in the songs :)

quit buttering me up...you already got a job and a hot new trophy girlfriend...you don't need anything from me ;)

seriously, thanks for the kind words, my friend.

As for the Virus, I've been told that I have an unhealthy attachment to the saw and supersaw waveforms, so it was time to move onward. Hello Bjorn and your army of .AMS files!

The Wallpaper tracks are shaping to be just gorgeous. Nice work! It's been a wonderful pleasure to have your music accompany my work today. I really dig the touch of the old-school with such great transparent modern production. Very nice.

Cool, glad to be of service. When you're ready for some cacophony, check out the last track of http://www.nebulae.com/music/schnebulae.html

Yes, that's me singing in the shower.

8O LOL!
You really are amazing!
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I sure thought I heard some low male moaning in the background of the shower...hmm....

well, it's been many years and a lot of mindbending drugs since those Berkeley days, but as I recall it, there's a slight thump...that's me dropping the soap....the moan came afterwards as I bent over to pick up the soap...
